
Air Compressor Sales engineer

What You’ll Do
Drive outside sales of compressed air systems and related industrial services within your assigned territory.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, including maintenance managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing customer accounts.
Use your technical expertise to assess customer systems and recommend tailored compressed air solutions.
Partner with regional sales representatives to strategically target high‑value accounts.
Conduct on‑site demonstrations, plant surveys, and system evaluations to identify efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with Inside Sales, Application Engineers, and manufacturer representatives to deliver complete solutions.
Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and present value‑driven solutions that improve system reliability and reduce operating costs.
Track activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 4+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, ideally within compressed air systems (compressors, dryers, filtration, piping, or system audits).
Demonstrated success managing a sales territory and achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Technical aptitude and familiarity with plant utility systems.
Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the territory.
