Overview Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer (Field Sales Support) to perform problem analysis & disposition and in‑house technical support for the F‑35 Air Vehicle Sub‑Systems Team. The successful candidate will analyze sub‑system and structural difficulties, monitor performance indicators, and identify emerging failure trends.
Key Responsibilities
Perform problem analysis & disposition for sub‑systems and structures.
Provide in‑house technical support to the F‑35 Air Vehicle Sub‑Systems Team.
Conduct in‑depth analysis of sub‑system and structural issues related to engineering changes.
Monitor system performance indicators to identify emerging failure trends.
Work 24/7 on call coverage as required.
Travel short‑term as required and be willing to work any shift or weekends.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from an accredited college.
Defense Industry experience.
Python, MATLAB, Tableau, JIRA, SolidWorks, CATIA/CAD.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Required Clearance & Citizenship Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a government security clearance at the Secret level. Position requires special access to secure facilities.
Work Schedules & Remote Work Full‑time, 4 × 10‑hour day schedule with 3 days off per week, supporting global customers. Remote telework is available part of the schedule.
