Title: Senior Martech Business Analyst (Contract)

Chicago (Remote)...hybrid onsite (a plus)

Pay:

$50-$60 (W2)

Overview: We are seeking a Senior Martech Business Analyst to support marketing, digital, and technology initiatives by translating business needs into scalable marketing technology solutions. This role will focus on requirements gathering, process optimization, and supporting delivery across the martech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements

Analyze current marketing workflows (campaigns, customer data, loyalty, etc.) and recommend improvements

Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria

Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver martech enhancements

Support integrations across CRM, CDP, campaign management, analytics, and personalization platforms

Lead workshops, backlog refinement, and solution discussionsAssess data flows, system dependencies, and downstream impacts

Support testing strategy, UAT, and production readiness

Track platform adoption and identify opportunities for optimization

Create clear documentation, including requirements, workflows, and training materials

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting marketing technology or digital initiatives

Strong communication skills across business and technical teams

Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and Agile delivery

Familiarity with CRM, CDP, analytics, campaign automation, or personalization tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

Experience with platforms such as Braze, Amperity, Adobe Experience Cloud, or Tealium

Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools, or API integrations

Background in customer experience, e-commerce, or digital marketing environments

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
