Job Summary Instructional Copywriter for a retail client’s Seller Education team. This hybrid role involves editing and producing scripts and assets for the Seller Academy video series while leading the design and development of comprehensive learning materials, conducting needs analysis, and maintaining the learning management system.
Responsibilities
Edit and produce written scripts & assets for video series.
Design and develop comprehensive learning materials.
Conduct learning needs analysis and design curricula.
Create multimedia materials such as videos, animations, and VLEs.
Analyze user feedback to improve courses.
Maintain and report on learning management system.
Work autonomously while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Work process‑driven, meet deadlines in fast‑paced environment.
Capture screenshots and visual references for video production.
Communicate clearly, give and receive candid feedback.
Navigate ambiguity, pivot direction based on changing business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years in Learning Design, eLearning, or educational content writing.
4+ years general copywriting experience.
Experience in tech, eCommerce, or SaaS industries.
Robust portfolio showcasing educational writing for external audiences or course design.
Expert‑level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience with project management software (Asana).
Portfolio should include:
Examples of eLearning modules, video scripts, training materials, job aids, or storyboards.
Demonstration of design process, instructional design model, and tools used (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Vyond).
Writing samples translating complex topics into clear, succinct, engaging adult learner content.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing help documentation, video scripts, and designing learning materials.
Knowledge and hands‑on experience with learning management systems.
Exceptional grammar, writing, and editing skills.
Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.
Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences.
Collaborative experience with project stakeholders and designers.
Self‑starter passionate about processes and technical tools.
Experience with CMS (Contentstack, Salesforce) preferred.
Familiarity with agile instructional design processes.
Experience creating videos and presentations with Vyond or other AI‑driven platforms.
Experience curating, developing, and managing online courses.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly: $48‑53
W2, benefits, and 401k matching.
Start Date: ASAP.
