About The Role IDB Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to join IDBTech in New York. The team manages a diverse portfolio of technology and startup clients, supporting them across their day‑to‑day banking needs as well as more strategic financial activities.

This is a client‑facing role focused on building long‑term relationships and playing a meaningful role in clients’ growth journeys. The position combines ongoing ownership of client relationships with active engagement in the market, requiring both deep client involvement and the ability to develop new relationships within the broader technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of technology and startup clients, building strong, trusted relationships over time

Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, financial position, and evolving needs, and proactively support them as they grow

Take ownership of the overall client relationship, ensuring a high level of responsiveness, attention, and follow‑through across all interactions

Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and broaden engagement with clients as their needs evolve

Actively build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through outbound efforts, referrals, and ecosystem engagement

Lead new relationships from early‑stage conversations through onboarding, maintaining momentum and ownership throughout the process

Build and maintain relationships with founders, CFOs, investors, and other key participants in the tech and venture ecosystem

Partner closely with internal teams (credit, treasury, product, risk) to deliver thoughtful, well‑structured solutions

Contribute to credit‑related processes as needed, bringing a strong understanding of the client context and commercial perspective

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or a related field

Strong financial foundation and comfort working with company financials

Experience in relationship‑driven roles requiring both client management and business development

Familiarity with both the U.S. technology as well as the Israeli‑related ecosystems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Fluency in both English and Hebrew (spoken and written) is required

Self‑starter with a high level of ownership and ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred

Experience working with technology, startup, or venture‑backed clients

Familiarity with venture lending and/or exposure to structuring venture debt transactions

Existing network within the tech and/or VC ecosystem (U.S. and/or Israel)

Additional Information The expected annual salary range is $120,000‑$150,000. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience.
