Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Manager, Pricing Strategy to join our FP&A team.

Work Location Based in our New York City office. This position requires a hybrid schedule with 3 days in‑office per week – Thursdays are mandatory, the other two days are flexible.
Pay Transparency Base: $123,372 – $161,925 per year. Eligible for employee benefits, unlimited vacation, annual performance bonuses, medical, dental, vision, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k), life and disability insurance, wellness time.
Responsibilities
Craft data‑driven pricing recommendations for senior executives to influence growth and profitability.
Build models and tooling that generate relevant business insights, including competitive intelligence and scenario modeling.
Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategy for each Oscar market.
Identify and research profitability trade‑offs, market trends, and membership insights to inform company‑wide strategic decisions.
Source, organize, and analyze data to support all strategic programs.
Monitor important metrics and emerging ACA landscape trends to inform tactics during selling season.
Report intra‑year membership analytics to leadership to assess business health.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of finance experience, preferably in healthcare, consulting, insurance, or financial services.
4+ years of experience with Google products (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft equivalents.
4+ years of experience working with C‑level executives.
Reports to Senior Director, Strategic Finance & Corporate Development.
Bonus Points
MBA in Finance or MS in Financial Analysis.
Experience in managed care, healthcare, or insurance.
Proficiency with SQL/BigQuery.
Proficiency with NetSuite and Adaptive.
