
Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Overview A fast‑growing, mission‑driven organization is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead and execute lifecycle marketing initiatives in a high‑velocity, startup‑style environment. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is responsible for driving customer engagement and retention through data‑driven lifecycle strategies.
You will own end‑to‑end lifecycle campaigns while partnering closely with Brand and Product leadership. Success in this role requires deep HubSpot expertise (must‑have) , strong analytical skills, resilience, and the ability to execute pre‑defined processes while continuously improving performance across standard customer segments.
Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end lifecycle marketing strategy and execution across email and SMS programs for multiple audiences (consumers, installers, partners)
Own and execute the monthly email newsletter program, partnering with Content Marketing to identify and leverage relevant educational articles
Independently manage campaign production, including:
Writing high‑performing email and SMS copy
Partnering with design on creative assets
Conducting QA and deploying campaigns through HubSpot
Run and optimize pre‑defined lifecycle processes while identifying opportunities to set up and manage new projects as needed
Drive engagement and retention strategies in partnership with Brand and Product leadership
Optimize campaign performance through structured A/B testing (subject lines, content, CTAs, design, and send strategies)
Analyze lifecycle performance across standard segments and translate insights into actionable improvements
Manage timelines, stakeholders, and approvals autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
Prepare clear performance reporting and make data‑driven decisions to continuously improve results.
Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in lifecycle, email, CRM, or retention marketing
Expert‑level HubSpot experience (required; non‑negotiable)
Proven ability to operate independently and manage programs with minimal oversight
Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing audience segments and campaign performance
Advanced experience using Excel and reporting tools for analysis and insights
Demonstrated experience running structured, repeatable marketing processes at scale
Strong copywriting and editing skills for email and SMS campaigns
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup‑style environment with shifting priorities
High resilience, ownership mindset, and comfort navigating ambiguity
Must Have Skills Experience with Hubspot workflows, segmentation, automation, and reporting inside HubSpot
End-to-end lifecycle marketing ownership -Proven track record owning email + SMS lifecycle programs (not just supporting)
Experience across engagement, retention, and nurture journeys
Strong data-driven mindset + analytics -Comfortable analyzing campaign performance, segmentation, A/B testing results
Advanced Excel + ability to turn data into clear actions, not just reports
Hands-on campaign execution (builder, not strategist-only) -Writes email/SMS copy, coordinates creative, runs QA, deploys campaigns, someone who actually ships campaigns regularly, not just plans them
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
Has worked in startup or high-velocity environments
Can manage timelines, stakeholders, and ambiguity without hand-holding
Preferred Qualifications Experience collaborating closely with Content Marketing to source and align educational content
Ability to set up and manage new lifecycle projects or workflows
Experience using AI tools to improve copy quality and execution speed
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
Background or interest in clean energy, sustainability, or home electrification
