Art Model - West

Sustains nude and clothed professional portrait poses for art students to observe anatomy and structure to compose artistic drawings and/or paintings. Essential functions include sustaining a variety of both clothed and nude poses for art students, adapting to a range of portrait poses and instructor direction, professionally and appropriately interacting with students, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent). Knowledge, skills, and abilities include excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, basic knowledge of fundamental artistic modeling concepts, practices, and procedures, ability to appropriately, sensitively, and professionally interact with instructors and students, ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings as needed, and possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of a diverse population.

Competencies include adaptability, collaboration, quality of work, service focus, communication, time utilization, and continuous improvement.

Physical demands include performing the essential functions of this job in a classroom studio environment, sustaining seated, standing, and reclining poses for long periods of time, performing and sustaining quick, energetic poses, and walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite.
