
Paid Media Specialist – Search

Overview
Execute and optimize paid search campaigns across traditional and emerging search platforms. This role supports pipeline generation through strong execution, continuous testing, and performance optimization across top‑of‑funnel, high‑intent and mid‑funnel programs.
Programs target professionals responsible for event sales and execution at restaurants, hospitality groups, hotels, and venues that monetize private events. The beachhead market is SMB restaurants, with expansion into mid‑market and enterprise hospitality groups.
What You’ll Do
Build, launch, and manage paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, and other platforms
Execute always‑on demand capture programs targeting high‑intent search queries
Support mid‑funnel efforts through audience targeting, retargeting, and campaign layering
Monitor and optimize campaign performance daily, including:
Budget pacing
Bid adjustments
Keyword expansion and refinement
Ad performance and iteration
Run structured tests across:
Keywords and search queries
Ad copy and formats
Landing pages and conversion paths
Bidding strategies and audience signals
Analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics (CPL, CPA, conversion rates)
Identify performance trends and recommend optimizations based on data
Partner with demand generation, product marketing, website, and creative/content teams to ensure campaign priorities are reflected in paid search execution, landing page optimization, and ad messaging
Stay current on platform updates and emerging search formats (e.g., Performance Max, AI‑driven search)
What You Own
Day‑to‑day execution of paid search campaigns
Campaign‑level performance and optimizations
Accurate campaign setup, tracking, and reporting
Contribution to testing and experimentation efforts
What This Role Requires
2–4 years of hands‑on experience managing paid search campaigns
Experience building and optimizing campaigns in platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
Strong attention to detail in campaign setup, tracking, and performance monitoring
Comfort working with performance data and making optimization decisions
Understanding of paid search fundamentals (keywords, match types, bidding strategies, quality score)
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
B2B SaaS experience preferred; hospitality or restaurant tech experience is a plus
Base Compensation Range $70,000 – $85,000 annually. Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission.
