Opportunity: Independent Business Development Representative (Commercial Finance)

Block Equity Group is seeking a driven, self‑motivated Independent Business Development Representative to join our Rockville Centre, NY office. This is a full‑time, on‑site 1099 contractor opportunity. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for generating and managing your own book of business, with the support of our team and resources, helping small businesses access the capital they need to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to convert inbound leads into clients

Develop a thorough understanding of our financial products and their applications across various industries and business structures

Manage and nurture your client relationships on an ongoing basis

What You Bring

Experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development

Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills

Ability to independently build and maintain client relationships

Knowledge of commercial finance and lending products (a plus)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred, not required)

This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Compensation is commission-based. You will not be classified as an employee and will be responsible for managing your own taxes and business expenses.

Earning potential includes performance-based incentives. Compensation structure discussed during the interview process.
