
Assistant Superintendent

We are looking for an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in overseeing daily field operations for a warehouse construction project. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day on-site construction activities
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
Help maintain the project schedule by monitoring progress and identifying potential delays
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications
Assist with daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activities
Support material deliveries, inventory tracking, and site logistics planning
Help resolve field issues and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
Participate in project meetings and contribute updates on field progress
Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and secure
Qualifications
2–5 years of construction experience, preferably in commercial or industrial projects
Experience with warehouse, distribution center, or tilt-wall construction is a plus
Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and building codes
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office (Procore experience preferred)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
