The Role Amphenol Commercial Air is seeking a

Marketing Trainee

to work out of its state‑of‑the‑art facility in

Sidney, NY . The Marketing Trainee will complete rotations through customer service, technical product support, and general marketing to develop a working knowledge of Amphenol Commercial Air products, systems, and internal/external organization, leading to a future position in product marketing and career development within the organization.

Responsibilities

Customer Service : Quote and order entry, quality RMA's, expedites, and delinquency tracking, customer phone calls.

Customer Technical Support : Technical training of connector products, spec file/drawing management, customer quality clauses, customer technical issues.

Product Line Support and Management : Cost reduction products, program tracking.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other technical discipline.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals.

Ability to generally understand engineering drawings.

Ability to interface at all levels of departmental and top management.

Ability to fully understand the objectives of the product line and can work independently toward achieving those goals.

Ability to promote and sell the company’s products.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Highly organized and self‑motivated.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and capability of learning Amphenol’s operating programs.

Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer‑related work.

Travel (air and car) approximately 10 % of the time.

Salary $62,354 - $67,000

Location Sidney, NY – 30 minute drive from Binghamton, NY; 20 minute drive from Oneonta, NY.
