Senior Interior Designer

Overview
Provide design services to dealership customers including budgeting assistance, site verification, space planning, finish selection assistance, typical development, specifications and installation drawings. Senior Designer will work closely with dealership sales, order entry department and installation coordinator throughout the course of all projects. Customer interactions will vary based on project and needs of end-user. Responsibilities
Attend client meetings and prepare notes; review site conditions or new floor plans; inventory of existing product (if necessary); conduct in-depth programming; interview end-user/customer; research workplace design requirements and analyze needs. Upon approval of the space plan, the Senior Designer will develop furniture drawings and suggest finishes and fabrics to complete the space. Proposals for approved design are generated with the sales team and the order packet is prepared for entry. Upon approved order, installation drawings will be created and the Senior Designer will work with sales and the installation coordinator to ensure the customer’s needs and expectations are exceeded. Qualifications
Contract Furniture/Design Industry knowledge; 3+ years of Furniture Dealer experience; understanding workplace design issues and application; working knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations. CAD (required knowledge), Canvas/CET Designer, Project Matrix and all Microsoft products.
