Doyle Security Services is seeking to hire an experienced Fire Life Safety Director in the Brooklyn area for an Educational Institution.
PAY RATE: $26.50-$27.50 per hour
SHIFT AVAILABLE: Schedule 1: Thursday - Monday 2300-0700

JOB SUMMARY: Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities, preserves order, and may enforce regulations and directives for the site concerning personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a safe secure environment for students, staff and guests inside the school.
Establish and maintain good rapport with students, staff, and community members.
Ensure safety and efficient reporting by monitoring hallways, stairwells, toilet facilities, outdoor areas, and other public and unsupervised places of the school.
Assist with fire drills, crises, and other emergency building evacuations and situations.
Assist administrators and staff in crisis and emergency situations.
Update security records, logs, and reports.
Ensure all doors and gates are locked and that all alarms are engaged at designated times.
Assist staff and emergency personnel in handling emergencies and deescalating disruptive situations that may arise on campus.
Assist in daily operational duties as needed.
PREFERRED: School security experience CPR Certification
REQUIREMENTS:
MUST have Valid F-89, T89
MUST have Valid NY State Security Guard License
Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field (Preferred not required)
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to understand English and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position; technical working knowledge of building systems.
Protective security experience a plus
