Commercial Lines Account Manager – Norwood, MA

Requirements & Qualifications

3 - 5 years of Commercial Lines experience

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Property & Casualty Insurance License required

Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sound judgment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Service and manage an assigned book of commercial accounts, addressing all policy, coverage, and risk management needs

Drive retention and organic growth by rounding accounts, upgrading coverage, and maintaining agency standards

Manage complete renewal processes: marketing, quoting, carrier negotiation, and strategy implementation

Accurately process endorsements, policy changes, certificates, audits, and service requests

Place and bind coverage with carriers according to agency and underwriting guidelines

Collaborate with producers on new business submissions, marketing, proposals, and coverage analysis

Review policies for accuracy and communicate changes and updates to clients post-billing

Document account activity, monitor accounts at risk, and proactively address retention

Stay compliant with insurance regulations and internal protocols

Participate in weekly team meetings, sharing progress on pipelines, renewals, and carrier relationships
