Summary of Position The Web Designer – UI/UX will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and user‑friendly websites and portals for our company. This role requires a unique blend of creativity and technical proficiency, along with a deep understanding of web design principles and best practices. Secondarily, the Web Designer will support other collateral development, print and digital, to support product marketing and business goals.

Key Job Elements

Website and Portal Design: Design and develop visually appealing and intuitive websites and portals. Ensure that all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.

UI/UX Best Practices: Apply best practices in UI/UX to create engaging and efficient user experiences. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs using tools such as Figma.

User Research and Testing: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback. Use this data to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives. Participate in regular team meetings and design reviews. Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Print / Digital: Design, develop, and update print/digital collateral consistent with company brand identity and messaging.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. Ensure that all designs are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Qualifications Knowledge/Experience

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.

One plus year of proven experience in web design with a portfolio showcasing UI/UX skills.

Expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent.

Understanding of front‑end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus, but not essential.

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Knowledge of SEO principles, accessibility standards, and cross‑browser compatibility issues.
