REPORTS TO: Director, Video Production
STATUS: Full-Time; Exempt

Responsibilities
Broadcast ENG style videographer that travels on the road with the team during the season and to Peoria, Arizona for Spring Training. Shoots game highlights, interviews, social media features and provides daily media feeds. Shoots Padres.com webstream game camera for select Spring Training games
Works hand in hand with the television broadcast producers for Padres Baseball presented by MLB, including shooting daily manager press conferences, player interviews and game b‑roll
Records and distributes interviews to media and rights holders
Produces edits for video displays in‑park, commercial production campaigns, in‑game feature videos and special video projects, using Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects and Photoshop
Works in conjunction with Padres production staff and social media to collaborate for social media content and provide real‑time video during the games
Serves as a videographer for production video shoots
Creates and executes, in conjunction with the Marketing department, commercial production and other club video needs
Edits videos for community outreach and develops videos for presentations, corporate partners, and other Petco Park events
Edits videos with proper color correction, graphics and sound design
Assumes other duties as directed by the Director, Production and Vice President, Broadcasting & Entertainment
Area of Knowledge and Expertise
Expert knowledge of video camera and field production equipment, cameras include Sony FS6, FX3, Burano, RED and ENG cameras for broadcast
Expert knowledge of camera systems for both ENG and documentary videography
Advanced computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
Proven track record of meeting deadlines for broadcast
High level of knowledge of file and content management, file formats, codecs
Work efficiently and quickly, turning around videos for the social media department
Stays up to date with video editing trends
Possess creative and artistic skills for video and audio editing
Robust working knowledge about the game of baseball, the Padres’ organization, its personnel and history
Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effectively work well with others in a collaborative, respectful manner
Exceptional time management and organizational skills with capacity to handle high volumes of detailed work, multi‑task and manage projects on strict deadlines
Maintain professional demeanor with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and accountability
Maintain consistent, punctual, and regular attendance
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
4‑year Bachelor’s Degree, or education equivalent, plus a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience as an ENG or similar videographer, editor and producer
Minimum of two (2) years’ previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Premiere, Photoshop and AfterEffects. Motion Graphics knowledge is a plus
Post‑Production experience at a TV station, production house, or equivalent entertainment venue a plus
Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed. Extended travel for eight (8) months of the year
Minimum physical requirements: able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the ballpark for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds

Salary and Compensation Per the California pay transparency law, the base salary range for this full‑time position is $70,304 to $72,000. Your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, job‑related skills, and any other factors the San Diego Padres considers relevant to the hiring decision.
