Automotive Sales Professional
Mountain Motor Club, Orem, UT, United States
Who We Are
Mountain Motor Club is a small, fast‑moving independent dealership in Orem – and we run differently than most stores. We keep a tight, high‑quality inventory (about 30 to 40 vehicles at a time), move quickly, and focus on doing business the right way. That means
clean vehicles, honest conversations, and no high‑pressure tactics . Our team is close‑knit. We help each other. We expect accountability, but we also have each other’s backs. If you’re tired of cutthroat environments or outdated sales tactics, this will feel different – in the best way.
The Opportunity We’re growing and looking to add
one more salesperson
to the team. This is not a “stand around and wait for people to show up” job. We generate
100‑150 leads per month , and we need someone who knows how to engage, follow up, and convert opportunities into real deals. You’ll be working directly with customers from first contact through test drive, then handing off to finance while staying involved in the experience.
Responsibilities What You’ll Actually Do
Respond to inbound leads (Facebook, KSL, online, phone, etc.)
Build relationships and guide customers through the buying process
Set and manage appointments for test drives
Conduct walk‑arounds and record quick video overviews of vehicles
Follow up consistently (this is where most deals are won)
Work closely with the team on deals, trades, and customer needs
Maintain a clean, organized pipeline of opportunities – strong CRM discipline
Stay informed of product details and changing availability
Qualifications You don’t need years of car sales experience—but you
do
need the right traits.
Strong candidates are:
Strong communicators with real interpersonal skills
Coachable (this is non‑negotiable)
Positive and easy to be around
Organized and able to manage multiple conversations at once
Hard‑working and self‑motivated
Approachable and genuine, not pushy or scripted
This is NOT a fit if you:
Avoid follow‑up or lack consistency
Need constant supervision to stay productive
Rely on pressure tactics instead of building trust
Struggle to take feedback or make changes
Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check
Availability to work Saturdays
Willingness to learn and be coached
Additional Information Pay & Schedule
Commission‑based compensation
Expected earnings:
$45,000 – $100,000+
Schedule:
5 days/week | 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (includes Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
Why This Role Stands Out
No high‑pressure sales environment
Real teamwork; no “every man for himself” culture
Strong lead flow (you won’t be sitting around waiting)
Hands‑on training and ongoing coaching
Clear path to growth
Employee discounts on vehicles
Who This Is Perfect For
Someone looking to break into sales the right way
Someone who’s been in sales but wants a better environment
Someone who wants to
actually get better , not just get by
Someone who takes pride in doing things honestly and professionally
We’re not looking for just anyone – we’re looking for the right person.
If you’re sharp, coachable, and willing to work, this can be a very strong opportunity.
If you’re average, inconsistent, or just “checking options,” this won’t be a fit.
