Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Achieve Agency Revenue Targets: Sell new insurance policies and services to prospective clients, aligning offerings with their unique needs and upholding Rathbun Insurance’s core values.
Expand Professional Network: Participate in industry events and local networking opportunities to foster connections and partnerships while building Rathbun’s reputation in the community.
Cultivate Client Relationships: Nurture relationships through open communication, personalized service, and a commitment to “Being There Matters Most.”
Stay Informed: Maintain extensive knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide valuable guidance to clients and insights to the sales team.
Exceed Sales Goals: Meet or exceed established sales quotas and target, contributing to the financial success of the agency.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a steady pipeline of potential business opportunities through timely follow-up and collaborative efforts with the sales team.
Qualifications
State of Michigan P&C Producer License (required)
Over five years of proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals in a professional environment.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.
Commitment to professional growth and staying current with industry developments.
The Commercial Lines department is supported by three experienced account managers, ensuring producers have the resources needed to succeed.
