
Field Training Specialist

Winsupply is in the business of creating and enabling entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams through wholesale distribution. Winsupply is a group of over 670 locally-owned companies that operate across a variety of industries, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and more. The purpose of the support services campus is to eliminate obstacles and provide support to help our entrepreneurs succeed. Support service employees assist entrepreneurs in achieving their dreams through finance, accounting, IT, and other back-office operations.
Position Summary The Field Training Specialist conducts both on-site and virtual training for local companies. They will work closely with Local Companies, Area Leaders, and Training Services to ensure desired performance outcomes.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Train employees on WISE, WinZone and Winreports functions.
Possess knowledge to train new president/managers and employees on various topics including WISE functions, reports, e.g. A Day’s Work in a Day (ADWIAD).
Work with local company in organization and/or setup of WISE data.
Conduct various follow-up training activities with recently visited local company.
Participate in in-person training events such as Annual Meetings, National Training, Regional Training, and MDTP sessions.
Record training help videos and provide supporting help documentation.
Create, maintain, and follow up help tickets for end users until their issue is resolved.
Routinely work with Programming, Quality Assurance, and Support teams on various projects.
Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to local companies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
3+ years working in the wholesale distribution industry.
Ability to provide attention to detail, thoroughness, and ownership in all duties.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
Able to work in a fast paced/constantly changing work environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, or related experience.
3+ years of experience using the WISE ERP system.
