Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A growing 144‑bed behavioral health facility – Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services. The Director manages all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinating caseloads, developing and managing the outpatient staff, and marketing the program. This goal for this position is to maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the business developmental systems.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work or counseling or licensed RN
Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility
Current RN, LPC or LMSW (fully licensed by the State of Michigan)
A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities. CPR and CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services
Work Hours: Day shift. Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays
