Understands how product design, market analysis and data analytics evolve retail strategies. Directs and communicates Trends, Influences, Colors, Print/Pattern, Fabric and Silhouette for specific areas. Produces and communicates trend stories on a seasonal basis. Collaborates with Design in implementation and execution of Trend ideas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the concept creation and process development for multiple brands, under the guidance of Sr. Manager and Design Leadership
Has a clear understanding of brand aesthetics, seasonal product priorities, and current business needs to quickly adapt and tailor work that supports business objectives
Builds brand‑specific seasonal color palettes that align with brand DNA and directional research in collaboration with Design Leadership
Manages complexity by owning timelines and due dates for multiple concurrent deliverables across overlapping seasons, ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time
Owns communication with cross function teams for their areas of ownership, making sure communication is organized and timely
Influences product development and assortment phases by providing concept and trend insights that support relevant, engaging customer offerings
Researches, creates, and delivers inspiring, solution‑oriented content specific to assigned categories
Contributes to trend communication by researching market trends and validating forecasted trends in collaboration with leadership
Drives the research behind bi‑annual color maps, building physical and digital support tools
Conducts competitive shopping to understand the market landscape and clearly communicates findings to the team and cross‑functional partners

QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong design and/or conceptual experience
Passion for color theory and the role it plays in purchase behaviors
Extensive knowledge of silhouettes, textiles, art/print techniques, fabric
Proficient in Illustrator and capable in Microsoft, Photoshop, InDesign, Miro, etc.
Positive and passionate with strong problem‑solving skills
Desire to work in a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with business partners & teammates
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
College degree in Fashion Design, Textiles or a related field.

Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Washington: $69,000 - $110,500 Annually. This position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
