Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Assistant Property Manager for apartment communities in Lawrence, MA. Responsibilities
Provide assistance and daily support to the Property Manager and act as backup in all facets of property management, including resident interaction. Support marketing/leasing efforts and be knowledgeable in site operations, rent collection, work order processing, and turnover preparation; ensure LIHTC compliance and maintain resident relations. Assist with collections, recertifications, property inspections, and administrative functions. Qualifications
Knowledgeable with respect to affordable housing programs, including Affordable Housing, federally-assisted programs, and all state and local housing regulations. Time management skills and ability to prioritize. Strong administrative, organizational, computer, marketing, and resident relations skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years related property management experience including recertification, and clerical/administrative support. Extensive knowledge of OneSite; proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. LIHTC experience is required. Strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills. Compensation and Benefits
