Overview
CLA is hiring a
Senior Tax Associate
to join the Florida Tax team. You’ll have the opportunity to work with privately held business clients and grow and specialize as you progress in your career. This position can be based out of Orlando, Tampa, Lakeland, Naples, or Fort Myers, FL offices. Responsibilities
Prepare, supervise, and review C corporation, S corporation, and partnership returns. Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues. Focus on engagement management and operational excellence. Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers. Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities. Get the opportunity to work with many great clients. Qualifications
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You have at least 2 years of experience in public accounting or a family office setting; 3 years is preferred. You are looking for a firm that will support and foster your aspiring career goals. You are driven to help others and are ready to join a team of high-performing people. You have a knack for solving issues and confidently bring solutions to the table. You enjoy working with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically. An active CPA, EA, or JD license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
