
Military Sales Specialist

We partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed.
We’re looking for a motivated Military Sales Specialist with the energy to work with a growing company. This position presents a unique opportunity to leverage your military service background with an MRO industry leader. The Military Sales Specialist will develop MRO sales opportunities with customers related to and within the US Military. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work from a home office. Occasional overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities
Identify, negotiate and close sales opportunities with military and military related clients.
Build lasting relationships with clients to ensure recurring sales.
Resolve customer issues and provide technical subject matter expertise.
Conduct account service work including bin/cabinet inventory, setup, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Background
Former or Retired US military NCO, Warrant Officer, Commissioned Officer is preferred
Military background in maintenance and/or supply is a plus
Must have an entrepreneurial outlook, strong work ethic, and a drive to succeed
Prior sales experience is preferred
College degree preferred
Key Skills
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
Ability to interact with all levels of military organizations including flag and field grade officers and maintenance/logistics teams
Ability to handle multiple projects successfully
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong investigative and listening skills
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, interacting with all levels within an organization
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations and requirements.
