Sr. Civil Estimator TRC’s Client | Franklin, TN (80% office / 20% field) Join a fast-growing, established site development contractor that has expanded year-over-year for nearly a decade. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape and support the estimating and preconstruction function while working closely with leadership on pricing, systems, and process improvement. Why This Role Stands Out Opportunity to contribute to both preconstruction and active project estimating Exposure to leadership and involvement in refining estimating processes Clear path for growth as the civil division continues to expand Stable, established company with consistent growth What You’ll Do Support and lead estimating efforts for full civil/site development scopes including earthwork, utilities, grading, paving, and concrete Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing, and subcontractor coordination Assist in managing the bid process from initial review through submission Stay involved during active projects to support cost tracking, change orders, and issue resolution Build and maintain relationships with developers, general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors Contribute to developing unit pricing, production rates, and estimating tools Work with leadership to improve estimating workflows and processes Participate in project handoff to operations to ensure alignment What You Bring 5–8 years of experience in civil/site development estimating Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, grading, and site development scopes Ability to read plans, specifications, and perform accurate takeoffs Experience supporting change orders, cost tracking, or project coordination Comfortable working in a hands-on, evolving environment Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
