Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Alternatives Hedge Strategic Solutions team. The role involves application process and output analysis, liaising with stakeholders to drive solutions to eliminate operational defects, strengthen our risk excellence and improve our client service as part of the wider Geneva conversion initiative.
Who we are looking for The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of Alternatives’ systems flow, great communication skills, initiative and be capable of working on multiple assignments.
What you will be responsible for As a Senior Associate you will be primarily responsible for developing and executing an improved approach to analyzing and remediating upstream and Geneva applications’ output and loading failures, in addition to performing Geneva upgrade analysis and testing.
Ability to work with business stakeholders and application Product Owners in a collaborative, cross functional team environment to deliver key strategic deliverables in a timely manner.
Preparation of Zurich UI metrics to enable identification and sharing of Middle Office and Geneva priority issues with application Product Owners to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Assist the business to increase resiliency and reduce operational risk via the investigation and remediation of Geneva loading failures, cross application root cause analysis, and liaising with application Product Owners to improve controls.
Contribute to simplifying the end-to-end operating model and increase productivity, via assisting application Product Owners with upstream and Geneva core application processes such as enhancements and upgrade tracking and testing.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accounting qualification and work experience with a focus in a related field is preferred.
2+ years of fund accounting or hedge middle office experience.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
PC skills – Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Jira and Confluence.
Proven track record in applying company internal controls and policies.
Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team.
Geneva experience is preferred.
Salary Range $52,000 - $84,760 Annual.
