Signage Specialist
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and proactive professional with strong artistic and graphic design capabilities. This role requires the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with other departments and Associates to complete signage projects efficiently. The candidate should be comfortable working in confined spaces when necessary and demonstrate attention to detail in both design and installation. A willingness to learn from experienced signage specialists and continuously develop technical and creative skills is essential for success in this position. Job duties include, although are not limited to: Review emails daily to identify new projects and schedule signage consultations and layout planning. Order specialized signage materials and supplies as needed while monitoring and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Maintain and operate signage equipment, ensuring tools and machines are in proper working condition. Prioritize signage projects to meet deadlines and support operational needs. Collaborate closely with the Convention Services team to coordinate and produce signage for group events, maintaining regular communication with convention managers. Partner with Property Operations to design and produce signage in-house to support property needs. Expedite signage projects when necessary to meet urgent deadlines and operational needs. Reports to Property Operations Sign Artist. Works closely with all departments regarding any and all signage needs. Has regular contact with outside vendors when the work is beyond capabilities, such as oversized signage that need to be laminated, metal signage, individual cut letters, illuminated letters or signs needed in a faster turnaround than what can be provided in-house. Works commonly with external operational vendors ISG Graphics, Identity Group, Sign Partners. Works well with raw material vendors such as Grimco, ENT Plastics, Fargo Plastics. Familiar with Rolland wide Format Printer and Graphtec Vinyl Plotter. Graphic Design/Artistic Background Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Sign Lab. Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Climb a ladder to install signage as needed. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing. In the United States, we are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
