Administrative Support Staff
Direct and redirect students in a confident manner; possess strong clerical skills, be comfortable greeting visitors and answering phones. In addition, candidates must have a positive attitude, be willing to work as part of a team, and be flexible with their daily assignments. Responsibilities and tasks include: Operating Black & White and Color copiers / printers; producing jobs, using various copies. Provide support to AESPs and Administration within the offices including filing, data entry and records organization. Locate students, write passes and assign student helper to deliver in the event of a problem, concern or emergency. Greet visitors, answer questions/concerns pertaining to the administrative function of the school; receive incoming calls from students, parents, etc. Sign in students arriving to school late and signing in visitors and guests. Receive and authorize prearranged absence forms per school policy; record information and maintain school attendance records. Daily calls to families of students that are unreportedly absent. Perform other related duties as assigned, including occasional lunch and recess supervision. Participation in district training program prior to and during employment. Minimum qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to type, maintain records and file. Computer experience necessary.
