How you make an impact… This role is a key member of the leadership team charged with defining and executing IT strategy, integrating information technology (IT), and building scalable systems, governance, and talent to support Niowave’s expansion and long-term mission.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
15+ years’ experience in progressive roles in Information Technology
10+ years’ experience in leadership, including managing large teams, departments, budgets, and vendor management
Experience to include:
Successfully building, expanding, or transforming IT functions to support rapid organizational growth, increasing complexity, and evolving business needs
Designing and implementing enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and business-critical systems that grow with the organization
Establishing and maturing IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks that enable sustainable growth and audit readiness
Building and developing high-performing teams, creating scalable organizational structures, and fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
Understanding how to scale technology within highly regulated industries (e.g., cGMP, FDA, ISO), ensuring compliance, validation, and data integrity without slowing innovation
Great to have…
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (R&D, Manufacturing, Quality/Regulatory)
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PMI-ACP)
Process improvement certification training/experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing practices, processes, cGMPs, quality management systems (QMS), etc
Other things to know…
Full-time position
The company’s standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts
This position will have regular working hours Monday - Friday within the standard operating hours
There is an expectation of adjusting working hours outside the standard hours to meet operational requirements
Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area and travel between locations is expected in the role
