
Construction Superintendent (Traveling)

Our work includes industrial/manufacturing, commercial, residential, municipal, land development, and healthcare projects.
Little Dixie Construction is seeking a deadline-driven Traveling Construction Superintendent to oversee construction projects and to act as the link between various project parties. The construction superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on-site. The construction superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on-site and ensure compliance with safety regulations. To ensure success you should complete projects on time and within budget and never compromise on quality. Top candidates will be strong leaders, proactive, and perform well under pressure.
Job Description
Lead and manage the on-site construction team.
Maintain daily communications with the Project Manager and work as a team to complete the project.
Coordinate and oversee all internal labor, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
Attend production meetings.
Schedule and lead weekly safety meetings.
Review and become familiar with the schedule and budget.
Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure quality standards are met.
Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are on-site.
Monitor and ensure on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness at all times.
Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, daily progress photos, field change orders, and RFIs.
Coordinate inspections and ensure that testing is being performed per the contract documents.
Promote a safe work environment by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
Work in various weather conditions, in various settings.
Qualifications ·Experience in ground-up construction.
·Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment.
·Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications, and other documents.
·Familiar or proficient with Procore Project Management Software.
·Basic technology skills.
·Willingness to travel from project to project
Certifications
Driver’s license (Required)
OSHA 10 (Preferred)
