Position
Merchandiser – Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt – Brentwood, TN. Reports to Supervisor of Merchandising. Servicing zip: 37027.
Employment Status & Schedule On‑site, part‑time. Assigned stores serviced on designated weekdays. Travel expected up to 100% of time to cover territory. Travel time between accounts is paid.
Compensation
Competitive wage $15 per hour, includes travel time.
Referral retention bonus after six months as defined in program details.
Requirements
General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, detail‑oriented, professional conduct.
Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
Reliable transportation.
Proficient with Movista and other company‑required applications.
Personal cell phone and tablet.
Proficiency with Word, internet, and email applications.
Employment Conditions Contingent on background check, 4‑panel drug test (no THC), and MVR clearance.
Responsibilities
Merchandise products within a retail environment following store and corporate standards; safely replenish product; assemble shelves/racks and display cases per guidelines.
Serve all stores as scheduled; seek prior approval for work outside the schedule.
Contact supervisor before overtime or more than 10 hours in a workday.
Accurately record work hours and company information using designated applications.
Discuss duties requested by store personnel that are not listed herein with supervisor before performing.
Other duties as assigned.
Goals & Objectives
Work stores as scheduled.
Handle all product correctly, including returns.
Follow planograms, flowcharts, and other merchandising guides.
Maintain regular communication with supervisor.
Develop relationships with store personnel.
Physical Requirements Frequent bending, squatting, standing, walking, kneeling, push/pull; occasional sitting; manual dexterity; reach above shoulder level; handling objects up to moderate weight (25–50 lbs); occasional heavy lifting over 50 lbs.
Mental Requirements Read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze.
Environmental No exposure to excess noise, moving machinery, extreme temperature or humidity changes, dust, fumes, gases, radiation, motorized equipment, or confined quarters.
