Summary of the Job At First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO), a Personal Banker helps customers with everyday banking needs and supports them on their financial journeys.

About This Role As a Personal Banker, you will put the customer first by understanding their unique financial needs and providing personalized recommendations to support their well‑being. You will assist with simple transactions, guide customers toward savings and retirement goals, and deepen relationships through outreach and proactive engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

Make every customer feel welcome in the FNBO branch

Help customers with transactions such as deposits and withdrawals

Gain an understanding of each customer's unique financial needs

Make personalized recommendations to support customers

Guide customers toward greater financial well‑being

Deepen relationships with customers through outreach

Comply with all bank policies, regulations, and laws

Qualification Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred

Retail banking experience preferred

Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Compensation Overview Starting pay for Personal Banker positions is $22/hour. Final compensation may vary based upon experience, education, and skill level.

Work Environment The incumbent will work onsite at the posted location. The environment fosters innovation, mentorship, and collaboration. Work location may change based on business needs.
