Giving Grace Client Intake Specialist VISTA
Grace Like Rain/Giving Grace was founded in 2016 to support families in crisis and/or homelessness. The organization offers a community‑centric program focusing on affordable housing, reliable transportation, and quality affordable childcare, and provides life‑skills training to help clients achieve long‑term financial stability.
The Client Intake Specialist VISTA will lead the Client Intake and Call area, train volunteers, and review and improve procedures to ensure high‑quality client services for families experiencing homelessness and poverty in Denton County, Texas.
Responsibilities
Lead the Client Intake and Call area, ensuring procedures and protocols are followed.
Provide ongoing and foundational training to volunteers in the Receptionist area.
Review existing procedures, suggest improvements, and implement new protocols.
Design referral forms listing internal and external resources and programs as needed.
