Role Description We're hiring a
Talent Acquisition & Artist Relations Manager (A&R)
to own the
artist side of our platform.
This role exists to
separate artist operations from booking,
allowing our booking team to focus on growth while you own:
Artist communication
Onboarding & quality control
Client support
What You'll Do Talent Acquisition
Source and onboard high-quality artists in Nashville + new markets
Build talent pipelines ahead of expansion
Artist Communication
Respond to artist emails (within 24 hours)
Manage live chat (within 4 hours)
Serve as the primary point of contact for artists
Handle call-outs, no-shows, and artist issues
Enforce policies and maintain accountability
Same-Day Coverage
Repost open shifts immediately when call-outs occur
Generate replacement options before escalations
Artist Quality Control
Audit and clean current artist pool (~800 artists)
Remove low-quality or inactive accounts
Maintain a high-performing roster
Artist Operations Support
Assist with artist logistics (hotels, stipends, etc.)
Support operational tasks related to artists
Who You Are
Highly
independent and solution-oriented
Comfortable handling issues and enforcing standards
Have an
ear for talent
Excited to grow with a fast-moving startup
