to apply internally.**This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Troubadour Golf & Field Club set outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Troubadour Golf & Field Club is seeking a Lead Server to join the Food and Beverage Service Department.

The Lead Server serves as a team leader for the front-of-house service staff and leads by example in delivering exceptional hospitality, in-depth menu knowledge, and seamless dining experiences. The Lead Server partners with Food and Beverage Leadership to support efficient restaurant operations and ensure elevated service standards are consistently met. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

\*\*\*Starting rate range from $20 - 22 per hour plus gratuities.\*\*\*Key Responsibilities• Oversee service staff to ensure exceptional service standards and clear communication with members, guests, and team members at all times.

• Greet all guests and members promptly and professionally, anticipate needs, and respond with a strong sense of urgency to enhance the overall dining experience.

• Partner with Food & Beverage and Culinary Leadership to deliver outstanding dining experiences, including menu knowledge and thoughtful food and beverage pairings.

• Supervise and train service staff on SOPs of restaurant operations, including order taking, food and beverage service, POS entry, and opening/closing procedures.

• Assist with floor management during service, ensuring smooth pacing, table maintenance, and guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and ingredients; be attentive to food allergies and special requests.

• Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences, including food and wine pairings.

• Ensure all transactions are accurately entered into the POS system, checks are presented correctly, and payments are processed according to company standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and storage areas at all times; complete side work and opening/closing duties as assigned.

• Monitor inventory of service supplies and assist with restocking as needed.

• Support a team-oriented environment by stepping in to assist service staff as needed during peak periods.

• Any other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven leadership experience in Food and Beverage operations within a high-end or luxury restaurant, resort, or private club environment.

• Two (2) to three (3) years of serving experience, preferably in a fast-paced, luxury setting.

• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings.

• Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards; possesses or can obtain State Food Safety Certification.

• Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and guest service.Additional RequirementsPositive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.Benefits
