This position will be a RETAIL position at Home Depot locations throughout Canton & Novi, Mi. In this vital role, you will work with Home Depot customers to promote, and schedule interested customers. That would like to inquire about saving money on their electricity bill by going solar. Your primary focus will be to approach customers and educate them on some of the benefits of Solar and peak their interest enough on learning more about this program for the sales team to schedule a visit.
As a representative of ABS, you will make a direct impact in helping customers transition to sustainable energy solutions that benefit both their homes and the environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and inspire change towards more eco-friendly energy practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage customers in retail environments to provide education and promote the benefits of renewable energy solutions.
Generate leads and schedule interested customers for the outside sales teams
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met
Stay up to date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide expert advice to customers.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Paid bi-weekly. No cap on earnings. Advancement opportunities available within 60–90 days.
Requirements:
Experience in retail sales or direct customer engagement is preferable but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage customers and identify their specific needs
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales goals
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Rapid management advancement opportunities as we are expanding locally and nationally
