
Lending Operations Intern - Consumer and Real Estate

Overview Location: Corporate. Department: Operations. Function Description: Responsible for providing support to the Bellco Lending Operations Group. The Vice President – Consumer and Real Estate Operations will coordinate the Intern schedules each week depending on the needs to the department.
Organizational Relationships Reports to: Vice President – Consumer and Real Estate Operations
Supervises: None
Contacts: Lending Operations Group staff and various internal credit union staff
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Must be a full-time student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management, with preference for Accounting or Operations
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of college experience in a business degree program
Experience using Microsoft Excel a plus
Financial services industry knowledge a plus
Accounting knowledge a plus
Skills: Must be a detail-oriented and a flexible team player with the ability to interact professionally with all Bellco staff and outside contacts.
Motivated self-starter with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working with a team.
Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and problem solving.
Strong analytical skills, with an ability to decide and take action by applying critical thought, intuition, experience, and judgment to the data available.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Equipment: Software used regularly includes: Microsoft Excel, Monarch, Firefox/IE, internal systems and applications
Online computer terminal keyboard and visual monitor, calculator, copier, fax, telephone, printer.
Essential Functions
Provides a valuable and enjoyable experience to both internal customers and members during interactions.
Title clean up and review
Title Inventory cleanup, including determining lien status and next steps
Consumer Processing tasks, including queue scrubs, email support and appending conditions
Consumer Servicing ancillary product review and contract confirmation for remittance
Home Equity tasks, including queue scrubs, email support and renaming conditions
Real Estate Servicing tasks, including report scrubs, tax review and iDentifi support
Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.
Working Conditions Office environment. Mobility to move throughout department and corporate offices.
This is a temporary internship for Summer 2026.
