Under the supervision of the Produce Manager, provide customer service as a Produce Clerk. Assist customers, clean, fill and rotate the perishable (produce) displays. Lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store and includes essential physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. Maintain safety and sanitation standards for the produce area; ensure products are stocked, properly labeled, and attractive to customers. What You'll Bring
Read and write Spanish/English; interact with general public and co-workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Desirable Skills
