Position: Personal Banker Department: Retail Banking Location: Andover, KS Job Type: Full-Time/Hourly Jump start your career at Equity Bank. Build Client Relationships: conduct professional client conversations that build trust and credibility; identify key life events to ensure products meet financial needs; recommend accounts, loans, and services; promote bank products and services; proactively refer to bank partners to generate additional revenue; maintain operational soundness and adhere to procedures and protocols. Deliver a Consistently Superior Client Experience: demonstrate excellent customer service; create a welcoming, engaging, and professional environment for clients; proactively resolve issues; respond to routine inquiries; perform teller duties as needed; approve transactions within your authority; assist with bank opening and closing as directed. Demonstrate Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations: follow applicable laws and policies, including Equity Bank policies, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements; complete periodic compliance training; obtain and maintain NMLS certification as required by SAFE Act and lending regulations. Required Skills & Education
High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Capable of working with a team to determine solutions Ability to travel to Wichita, KS during the first week of employment for required week-long training Preferred
