
Intake Specialist

Core Responsibilities
Assist families in the application and enrollment process. Make referrals to other programs. Master the Federal and State guidelines and eligibility requirements relating to all the programs. Navigate the case management database system: GoEngage and state subsidized childcare computer system (CCFA). Maintain standardized intake procedures: reviewing applications, returning calls/emails, collecting documentation, scheduling intakes and working with parents to obtain documents, completing required paperwork and generating income calculations for eligibility. Maintain childcare subsidies and recertifications, children’s files, coordinate orientations, process enrollment paperwork and required eligibility documents. Confidentiality is required. Core Qualifications
High school diploma or HISET/GED equivalent. MS Office Suite mastery. Excellent customer service, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized. Intermittent business travel will be required and reimbursed at the IRS mileage rate, as approved by the program director. Personal vehicle is required for travel. Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. Valid Massachusetts state driver's license. DCF background check. References required upon hire.
