
Community Engagement Specialist

Position Overview
The Community Engagement Specialist is a marketing-focused role responsible for building strong connections between the organization and the local community through content, design, and creative outreach. This position plays a key role in shaping how the brand shows up across the community by telling stories, creating engaging content, and developing relationships that drive awareness and attendance.
Key Responsibilities
Support community-driven marketing initiatives that align with brand goals
Build and maintain relationships with local clubs, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations
Work closely with partnerships to support brand collaborations and campaigns
Collaborate with the ticketing team to support community-based attendance efforts
Identify and engage with local brands, influencers, and community voices to expand reach
Capture and create content that highlights community, matchday experience, and local storytelling
Manage filming logistics for content shoots including planning, coordination, and execution
Assist with graphic design needs for social media, campaigns, and community initiatives
Support collaborative campaigns with partners, nonprofits, and local businesses
Represent the organization at select community events and outreach opportunities
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with a wide range of people
Experience capturing and creating content including video, photography, or social media
Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar)
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Collaborative mindset with experience working across teams
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
Passion for sports, marketing, and community engagement
