Athletics Marketing Coordinator

Join the Yale Athletics Marketing team to gain hands‑on experience and leadership skills in marketing, event planning, and game day operations. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of Promotions geared toward our community partners and fans, assisting with administrative operations and serving as the Marketing site supervisor for select events.
Responsibilities
Work alongside the Ticketing department and the Assistant Director for Fan Engagement to plan group outings and lead community outreach efforts
Assist the Director Game Presentation in creating graphics and videoboard content
Maintain library of music to be used during games, including team-specific playlists and crowd prompts
Act as the game presentation manager for select sports, managing team of student workers
Other duties will be assigned based on candidate’s skill set and career goals
Qualifications
Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field or be in the final semester of undergraduate work (can work while taking graduate classes)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work non‑traditional hours (nights and weekend are required)
Prior internship experience in a collegiate or professional sports organization
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
Hours & Compensation The Marketing Coordinator is expected to work approximately 2-3 days per week in the office (dependent on class schedules, etc.) as well as assigned home athletics events on nights and weekends. Office and gameday hours will total no more than 19 hours per week, and candidates will be compensated at the current CT minimum wage. This is a 10‑month position, running from August 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027.
