The Commercial Portfolio Manager oversees a commercial loan portfolio, working with market lenders to provide tailored financial solutions. Essential duties include managing and monitoring a commercial loan portfolio, serving as the primary liaison between Relationship Managers and internal partners, owning the end-to-end underwriting and approval process for assigned loans, analyzing financial statements, assessing market and credit risk, preparing and completing annual reviews, covenant testing, and ongoing credit quality assessments, proactively identifying revenue opportunities, emerging risks, and needed changes to risk ratings, loan terms, or covenants, participating in client and prospect meetings, maintaining complete and compliant loan documentation, building and sustaining strong relationships with clients, coaching and supporting lenders throughout the credit process, complying with applicable laws and regulations, staying current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and commercial products, and assuming responsibility for special projects and tasks as assigned. Education and certifications required include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and experience, and a minimum of five years of experience in loan portfolio management, including commercial loan documentation.
