Role Impact
Drive configuration and enhancement of the PRISM (Plan Rule Management System) platform, a mission-critical engine governing retirement plan rules within an insurance environment. Ensure accurate implementation of eligibility, vesting, and contribution logic while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Enable seamless integration of rule-based logic across downstream platforms and support modernization toward cloud-based architectures.
Requirements PRISM (Plan Rule Management System) application experience 5+ years Java Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) development Retirement plan rule configuration domain experience
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain plan rules for eligibility, vesting schedules, contribution limits, and employer match logic Translate plan document updates into PRISM system configurations Enforce compliance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations through rule validation logic Integrate PRISM outputs with sponsor-facing and participant-facing platforms Support migration of legacy rule configurations to cloud-based architectures Troubleshoot system-level issues within PRISM and related integrations
