Job Description: Technical responsibility of OS & Data migration technology. Anticipate most of the work will be Windows Server/VMWARE based, however knowledge of RedHat would be highly advantageous Data/Storage Migrations this may include use of tools like RoboCopy, StorageX, moving data between old and new environments could involve any legacy/multi vendor storage devices Out of hours or weekend support may be needed. Ability to work cross functionally to leverage different teams Resource may be asked to travel to the sites if needed Expect we will see non-standard server OS's like Servers running Win10, Ubuntu/other freeware *NIX versions that need to be migrated to standard Win2022 or RH9 etc In these acquisitions/integrations need to be prepared to support whatever it takes to achieve the goal don't be limited by scope Self-starter able to lead, past documentation/SOP's may not be available individual needs to be able to think on their feet
