About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to spearhead a comprehensive brand, licensing, and digital strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for redefining the brand's market position, leading the category-expansion narrative, and modernizing the marketing infrastructure. This role is pivotal in the company's reset and expansion phase, with a focus on converting the licensing portfolio into a direct-to-consumer personalization engine and leading the go-to-market strategies for new product lines. The CMO will also be tasked with rebuilding the company's digital presence, particularly in the DTC and Amazon channels, and will be expected to have a hands-on approach in the first year before scaling a team.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8-15 years' of progressive marketing leadership experience, particularly in consumer goods or lifestyle brands. A strong background in DTC e-commerce, including Amazon, and a proven track record in running digital marketing campaigns are essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of licensed merchandise and experience in commercial partnerships. Leadership skills, the ability to influence without formal authority, and a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to marketing are also key. The role requires a high level of integrity, self-direction, and a genuine passion for licensed consumer goods and gift-driven commerce.
