About the Role
We are seeking an experienced writer with deep knowledge of the crypto industry to contribute to Bitwise’s content marketing and creative materials across a wide variety of mediums and topics.
Primary Responsibilities
Writing and editing a wide variety of content, including social posts, email announcements, investment perspectives, product materials, press releases, video scripts, marketing copy, event collateral, and more.
Working cross-functionally across nearly all parts of the business, ensuring there is consistently high-quality written content that serves the needs of sales, research, marketing, investor relations, and the executive team.
Ensure content is properly reviewed and aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards, and reflective of the Bitwise brand.
Generate new content ideas to advance Bitwise’s mission of providing insight and connecting with crypto enthusiasts.
Maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders in the industry, community, and online.
Role Requirements
5+ years experience in an editorial or content creation role. Writing style is accessible/approachable.
Deep knowledge of the crypto industry, including the space’s most important projects, companies, people, and narratives. Strong familiarity with marketing for the investment industry, especially for financial advisors and institutional investors, is a major plus.
Strong understanding of social media, awareness of the stories/people driving conversations on X, with a knack for creating content that engages.
An editor’s eye, a keen sense for detail and a love for proper grammar and consistency.
Proven ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and/or executive teams.
Team-centric, high-energy, and intellectually curious. Inclined to take ownership to get the best outcome but happy to transfer or share ownership with others.
