Job Summary
The Account Manager for SpectraTurf is responsible for facilitating sales of Ecore products within the SpectraTurf market for the region. This position works to foster a collaborative selling environment between Territory Representatives and other Ecore team members, and supports the Regional Sales Director in achieving sales and gross profit targets.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Directly cultivate high‑level relationships and build new business with key end users to promote Ecore products throughout the SpectraTurf market.
Develop and maintain business relationships with architects, designers, and industry networking groups.
Assist with strategic planning, sales and marketing strategies, and the creation of sales goals and supporting budgets.
Monitor and direct key projects, including delivery, installation, cleaning, and maintenance.
Initiate and direct production of sales tools and marketing/promotional materials; participate in promotional efforts including customer presentations.
Represent Ecore at trade shows, conferences, and organization meetings.
Provide product and SpectraTurf market segment training to employees, sales agents, and customers.
Work directly with regional sales personnel to execute the SpectraTurf market strategy and ensure the achievement of sales goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
BS in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field, or 3 years equivalent industry work experience.
5–7 years of outside sales experience with a strong emphasis on flooring or construction materials.
Significant sales experience across all sizes and complexities of clients.
Solid knowledge of business, financials, products/services the market or key accounts need.
Demonstrated knowledge of flooring materials is preferred.
Ability to train, coach, and build strong teams for achievement of goals.
Structured direct contact with clients and potential partners.
Effective and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
Product marketing and distribution channel experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience using Salesforce software is strongly preferred.
Will require travel—approximately 75%, including outside selling and some national travel to trade shows.
Work Environment
Office environment with normal office equipment.
May include manufacturing conditions such as high‑pressure air/steam/gas, hazardous fumes, extreme heat, loud noise, exposure to dust, and PPE requirements.
Physical and Mental Demands
Manual dexterity and visual acuity to use standard office equipment.
Effective communication skills with supervisors and others.
Adequate hearing ability to receive work instruction.
Attention to detail and time management to meet productivity requirements.
Ability to understand and abide by safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
