Chris Pappas for Senate: Multimedia Producer LOCATION , NH SALARY $6,000 COMPANY Chris Pappas for Senate DEPARTMENT Digital EMPLOYMENT TYPE Campaign JOB DESCRIPTION Chris Pappas for Senate seeks a strong Multimedia Producer to join our growing digital team in New Hampshire’s battleground U.S. Senate race. The Multimedia Producer will work with the Digital team to produce engaging videos, graphics & motion graphics for the program. The ideal candidate is passionate about telling stories online and understands how to prioritize short-form, social-first content and to optimize it for various digital platforms. Duties and Responsibilities Handling all aspects of developing visual content for digital platforms, including creative direction, concepting, shooting, and directing Collaborating on scripts and conceiving video and digital materials for events Staffing, filming, and photographing the Congressman at events across New Hampshire Working with other teams and departments to meet photo and video needs Generating creative ideas, writing scripts and copy, and helping shape and strengthen the campaign’s content and storytelling program All other duties as assigned Qualifications Proficiency in video and photo editing in Adobe Creative Suite or other design software Experience managing, operating, and understanding camera and audio gear Ability to be nimble and shoot and edit video while traveling on the road with the Congressman, and adhere to schedules and meeting deadlines Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work long campaign hours, including evenings and weekends as needed Compensation Salary: Starting at $6,000 per month, commensurate with experience Benefits: Medical, dental and vision plan at no premium upon meeting plan eligibility requirements Leave: Paid time off will be available per Campaign policy. Hours: Full-time position. This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
